Giving Back

Wherever a man turns he can find someone who needs him.”
Albert Schweitzer

I believe that we can make this world a better place and I want to give back to show my gratitude for the luck I had in my life. Therefore, I support social change as part of my business model. When you invest in my programs, you’re not only helping yourself, you’re also helping me to support projects for children in India.

Street Heroes Of India

Street Heroes of India (SOI) is a international non-profit association of professionals that provide training, counseling and support for the emotional rehabilitation of street children in India.

SOI offers training, counseling and support for the care staff of centers and orphanages for the emotional, psychological and social rehabilitation of children and youth.  They also work with children and young people that experienced very traumatic situations to develop and apply all their potential and skills so that they can reestablish their purpose in life and become productive and responsible citizens throughout their life.

I conducted training programs in Bangalore and in Kochi on “Storytelling – How the Magic of Story can Heal Trauma and Violence” for counsellors and social workers who work for Don Bosco.

Here is a video about Don Bosco and their work:

Together with Katherin Wermke, a wonderful photographer, I also did workshops in Mysore with the boys and girls of the school.
